He was predeceased by: his parents, Jane Messick (Lord) and Spence Mead Messick, Sr.; and his son Levi Messick. He is survived by: his sons, Wayne Messick and Shawn Messick (Lindsey); his grandchildren, Jayden, Kallen, Sloane, Grayson and Gemma Messick; his grandmother Rachel Lord; his sister Teresa Greene (Dennis); his niece Rachel Dykes (James); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Gavin, Liam and Thalia Dykes; his niece Sarah Greene; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Aaliyah Moore and Gabriel Shockley.
In honor of Spence's memory, the family kindly requests that instead of flowers, donations be made to cancer or veteran organizations, or a tree be planted in his memory.
