She was predeceased by: her husband Olan C. Matthews; her parents, Eschol Dewey and Virgie Lonta Baker Jones; and her siblings, Norman, Charles, Eschol, Jr., Roy Jones and Iris Benson.
She is survived by: her son Michael C. Matthews (Cindy); her grandson Alexander (Kristina); her great grandchildren, Madeleine, Catherine, Thomas and James; and her siblings-in-law, Kay Jones and Jack Benson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and several close friends.
