He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence F. Whaley and Mary Ellen Wilkerson Whaley. He is survived by: his wife Adell J. Whaley; his children, Jeffrey Shockley (Sherry), David Whaley (Debbie), Stephen Whaley (Cindy) and Donna Lee Cecil; his brothers, Jack Whaley (Lorraine), Doug Whaley (Patty) and Wayne Whaley (Helen); and his siblings-in-law, Charlene "Sug" Whaley and Preston Conaway. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren.
