He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Adkins and Emma Jean Adkins (Wilkerson). He is survived by: his wife Josephine "Jo" L. Adkins; his children, Snapper Adkins (Crissie), Chris Adkins and Dawn Litchford (Steve); his grandchildren, Angel Adkins (La'Bron), Kaitlyn Adkins (Caleb), Kylee Adkins and Jase Litchford; his siblings, Keith Adkins, Mark Adkins (Gayle), Belinda Sparks (Richard), Teresa Adkins and Ralph Adkins (Tracey); and his siblings-in-law, Deby Benson (Clark) and Howard Spencer.
