He was predeceased by: his mother Christine Cathell; and his brother Richard Cathell. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Cathell; his brother Charles (Ingrid Cathell); his children, Kevin Cathell, Stacey Ellis and David (Crystal Cooper); his grandchildren, Savannah Cathell, Christine, Caitlin Cooper, Brooklynn Ellis, Hunter and Landon Mitchell; his great grandchildren, Layla, Avah Downing, Isabella, Harper and Skylar Reichenberg; and his father Charles Cathell.
