He was predeceased by: his parents, Norval E. Johnson, Sr. and Dorothy H. Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Shelby J. Johnson of Laurel; his sons, Gregory N. Johnson (Carla) of Laurel and Wade E. Johnson (Debbie) of Laurel; his grandchildren, Lindsey Lee Smith (Scott) of Laurel, Nicole Renee Condon (Richie) of Delmar, Katie Lynn Litwhiler (Kevin) of Laurel and Ryan Wade Johnson (Victoria Dunning) of Laurel; his stepgrandchildren, Kyle Wesley Whaley of Laurel and Kimberly Nicole Searcey (Ryan) of Laurel; and his sister-in-law Barbara Jenkins of Laurel. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Shottie Johnson's memory to the Good Ole Boy Foundation, to help local families in need.
