She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Tunnell and Viola Tunnell; and her siblings, Viola Frith, Harvey Tunnell and Samuel Tunnell.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Lewis; her daughters, Nickia Tunnell and Tiffany Tunnell; her grandchildren, Markia Williams (Ryan), Jalisa Tunnell, Elexus Austin, Erykah Austin, E'Shawn Austin, J'Zere King and ZyMaryAe King; her siblings, Lizzie Payne (Charles), Janie Trot, Susie Tunnell, Robert Tunnell (Angelia) and Wilbur Tunnell; and her close friend Norris P. White. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
