With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois A. LeCates of Laurel, Delaware, who passed away on February 13, 2025 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Hitchens and Rose Hitchens; and her husband Richard LeCates, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, Richard LeCates, Jr. (Charlotte), Vaughn LeCates (Brenda) and Eric LeCates; and her siblings, Brenda Quillen, Peggy Quillen, Diane Hitchens, Shirley Quillen, Charles Hitchens, Doug Hitchens and Harold Hitchens. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Disharoon Funeral Home Inc. (700 West St, Laurel, DE 19956). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
