With heavy hearts, we announce the death of June W. James of Laurel, Delaware, who passed away on December 12, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As June departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though June may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy June leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Leland and Helen Mitchell Warrington; her husband Richard G. James; her brother Edgar; her sister-in-law Louise Warrington; her sister Eleanor; her brother-in-law Edwin Henry; and her nephew Harrison Elliott.
She is survived by: her siblings, Mary Ellen Elliott, Jerry Warrington (Carol) and Shirley O'Neal (Louis). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
