He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Linwood Long and Maude Helen Long (Marlin); and his siblings, Linda Long, Ronnie Long and Richard Elwood Long.
He is survived by: his wife Dianna Long of Laurel, DE; his daughter Sarah Adelaide Long of Tall Timbers, MD; his siblings, Thomas Long, Dennis Long of Stanton, VA, Jean Reble and Marian Long of Salisbury, MD; and his pet Daisy. He is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
