She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Short and Pearl Short; her husband Albert Jefferson; her daughter Joy Jefferson; and her siblings, Alice Foskey, Anna Mae Wright, Vickie Short and Rueben Short.
She is survived by: her sons, Albert Wayne Jefferson (Dora) and Alan Jefferson (Judy); her stepdaughters, Susan Jefferson, Terry Collins and Janie Baldwin; her granddaughter Erin Hastings Gabbert (Kyle Gabbert); her daughter Brianna; and her grandsons, Bobby Brown, David Spence, AJ Jefferson, Kyle Jefferson, Jared Collins, Justin Collins, Michael Wilkin and Keith Wilkins. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and dear friends.
