He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Raymond Nauman and Viola M. Nauman (Bender); his former wife Terrilyn Nauman; and his siblings, E. Jean Savage, Paul E. Nauman, John R. Nauman and Charles M. Nauman.

He is survived by: his wife Deborah M. Nauman; and his brother George B. Nauman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
