He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Baker and Emma Timmons Baker; his siblings, C. Edward Baker, Viola Kinnikin, Mary Hearn and Helen Adams; and his grandson Christopher Patchett III.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Boyce Baker; and his daughters, Diane Patchett (Chris), Judy Evans and Irene Baker. He is also survived by three grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested in Mr. Baker's honor to the Laurel Fire Department, C/O Fire Police, 205 West 10th Street, Laurel, Delaware 19956.
