She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence F. Whaley and Mary Elizabeth Whaley; her brothers, Richard Whaley and Alan Whaley; and her sister-in-law Connie Whaley.
She is survived by: her husband Preston O. Conaway of Laurel; her children, Gary Conaway (Dawn) of Seaford, Dean Conaway (Sharon) of Laurel and Jan Allen (Jeff) of Laurel; her brothers, Bob Whaley (Adell), Jack Whaley (Lorraine), Doug Whaley (Patty) and Wayne Whaley (Helen); her sister-in-law Sug Whaley; her grandchildren, Garon Conaway, Erika Conaway, Schyler Conaway, Derek Conaway (Cristina), Adam Conaway (Melissa), Ashton Lewis (Sean), Jared Allen, Jenna Hilovsky (Brad) and Justin Allen (Katie); her stepgrandson Alex Bennington; her great grandchildren, Macie Hilovsky, Taylor Conaway, Taygan Conaway, Peyton Conaway, Gage Conaway, Preston Conaway, Daxon Conaway, Harper Lewis and Olivia Lewis; and her caregivers, Barb Dredden, Carol Richardson and Susan Jestice. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
