She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Adkins and Lily Maude Adkins (Long); her husband Havard Gordy; and her siblings, Ephriam Adkins, Courtland Adkins, Hilda Adams and Irma Mae Adkins.
She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Harte (Benjamin); her granddaughters, Katherine Kudzma (David) and Marcella Harte Conlon (Patrick); her great grandchild Simon Kudzma; and her sister Irma Lee Davis. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ Evangelistic Church in Laurel, DE, in honor of Amelia's enduring legacy of faith and love.
