She was predeceased by: her parents, George Kenney and Martha Jane Burris Kenney; her siblings, Louise Gaines, Marie Brown, Charlene Kenney, Darlene Morris, Samuel Kenney and Bruce Kenney; her nieces, Rebecca Johnson, Rose Brown and Virginia McCoy; her nephew Robert Brown, Sr.; and her former husband Charles Stanley.
She is survived by: her children, Vernon Kenney (Darshell) and Sharon Stanley; her grandchildren, Veronte Kenney, Jabri Stanley, Shai Kenney (Javonnie) and Tinisha Morris; her great grandchildren, Caleb Morris, Javonnie Reed, Jr. and Siraya Reed; and her brother-in-law George Morris. She is also survived by family, neighbors, several nieces, and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Matthew First Baptist Church (32129 Wolfe St, Laurel, DE 19956). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
