She was predeceased by: her parents, Henrietta Johnson and Louis Johnson Sr.; her sister Fannie Johnson; her husband Conrad Spencer; and her grandchild LaVarr Brown.
She is survived by: her siblings, Irene Tabb (Thomas) and Louis Johnson Jr.; her children, Vernita Brown (Thomas), Tyrone Spencer (Michelle) and Elvira Ellis; her grandchildren, Taquania, Tiesha, Brianna, Dekara, Keisha, LaCriessia, LaJerica and Jerome; her great grandchildren, Keyare, Makhyah and Nolan; and her great great grandchild Keyana.
