It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Virgina Elizabeth Hughes of Houston, Delaware, who passed away on July 20, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Hughes and Elizabeth Hughes; her grandson Brandon LeGrand; her siblings, Willard, Jr., Marvin, Martin, Charlene Poulson and Shirley Davis; and her sisters-in-law, Deborah and Beverly Hughes.
She is survived by: her sons, Raymond, Jr. (Wanda), Dana (Romonita), Brian (Lyndy) and Craig; her stepmother Genelle Hughes; her siblings, Marilyn Hughes, Karen Hughes (Edward), Larry, Wayne (Pam), James (Tracy) and Ronald (Shirley); and her siblings-in-law, Norma Jean Hughes, Daisy Hughes, Richard Davis and Andrew Poulson. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, one aunt, one uncle, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins.
