With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Gething of Hockessin, Delaware, born in Jackson, Michigan, who passed away on October 17, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandson Stephen De. He is survived by: his wife Mary Catherine (Herold); his daughters, Katherine Sabini (Paul) and Elizabeth Williams (James); his stepchildren, Lynne De and David Witwer (Christine); and his grandchildren, Peter, Evan Sabini, Patrick De, Kiana, Noelani, Mele Witwer and Jeremy Williams.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to a charity of choice or to the Thomas and Mary Gething Fund for Southeast Asian Studies, University of Washington, Box 353650, Seattle, WA 98195.
