He was predeceased by: his father Norman Boyd; his brother William Boyd (Bill); and his sister-in-law Jeanne. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Barbara Ambrose (Rell Ambrose), Janice Boyd, Mary Gutzat (Michael Gutzat) and Thomas Boyd (Kathryn Boyd); his grandchildren, Gwyneth Ambrose, Nico Ambrose, Ryan Gutzat (Nancy Bolton), Charos Courier (Eric Wright), Zachary Gutzat, Clara Boyd and Juliet Boyd; and his nieces, Patricia Blauch (John Blauch) and Kathy Boyd Kroh.
