He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Gordon, (McGoldrick) and Joseph X. Gordon, Jr.; his sons, Craig Michael and Mark Andrew; and his brother Joseph X. Gordon, III (Marie Gordon).
He is survived by: his son Phillip; his daughter-in-law Lori Gordon of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Caiden, Jay and Ella; and his siblings, Pauline (Lewis Dorsey, III), Anne (Jerome Hughes), John (Maureen Gordon) of Wilmington and Thomas (Susan Gordon) of Wilmington. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
