It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dariel Clayton Rakestraw of Hockessin, Delaware, born in Cherryvale, Kansas, who passed away on May 26, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Frederick and Sarah Christine Oliver Rakestraw. He is survived by: his wife Jane Heaberlin Rakestraw; his children, Gregory James Hall of Eureka, CA and Allyson "Ally" Hall of Fairmont; his grandchildren, Braeden Hall of Eureka, Garrett Hall of Eureka, Jack Swensson of Fairmont, WV. and Jane Swensson of Fairmont, WV.; and his siblings, Lawrence "Bud" Rakestraw of Missouri and Rosalie Goodrich of Texas.
