He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon R. Horn and Donna Radcliffe Horn; and his brothers, Bruce and Doran Horn. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Usilton Horn of Hartly; his children, Vernon Roger Horn, Jr. (Kim) of Clayton, James W. Horn of Hartly and Jody Smith (Dave) of Camden; his sister Janelle Jones of Ashland, NE; his grandchildren, Jesse, Brody, Casey Sergent and Megan Horn; and his great grandchildren, Kaden, Gage, Cannon and Ellie.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Delaware Veterans Home, 100 Delaware Veterans Blvd, Milford, DE 19963.
