He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Ford and Violet Ford; and his granddaughter Brittney Ford. He is survived by: his spouse Joy; his children, Ronald "Buzzy" Ford, Jr. and Greta Ford; his grandchildren, Kelly Kay, Amber Kay, Alexis Kay, Courtney Kay, Angel Kay, Danni Kay and Ronnie Kay; and his siblings, Edward Ford (Carla), Bill Ford, Lynda Messick (Dickie) and Beverly Gamble. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Hartly United Methodist Church.
