He was predeceased by: his father Otto Humphries; his wife Betty; his son Raymond Humphries, Jr.; his stepdaughter Donna Lawson; his stepgranddaughter Karen Lawson; his grandson Aiden Cahall; his siblings, Jerry Lee, Andrew "Allen", Isaac Otto "Ike", Benjamin Robert "Bob", John William "Bill" and Betty "Betts"; and his half-sister Della Orcino.
He is survived by: his son Glen John Cahall (Patricia); his grandchildren, Kristie Roberson (Daven), Kevin Lawson (Kathy Acree), Drew Carter (Morgan) and Christian Cahall; and his sisters-in-law, Clara Humphries and Joyce "Kate" Goley. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ray's memory may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
