He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Josiah Krause and Ruth Eleanor Krause (Kidd); his wife Agnes "Carolyn" Krause (Demientieff); his brother Randy Krause; and his grandson Jeffrey Vanderwende.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Krause of Frederica, Deanna Rolland (Matthew) of Newark and Bryan Krause, Sr. (Glenda) of Camden; his siblings, David Krause of Bethlehem, PA, Larry Krause (Debra) of Jim Thorpe, PA, Linda Bundra (Dennis) of Breinigsville, PA and Donna Boland of Tionesta, PA; and his grandchildren, Brianna, Cheyenne Krause, Caleb Rolland, Christian Timbs, Bryan Krause, Jr. and Aurora Krause. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to The American Cancer Society or the Wounded Warrior Project.
