We are sad to announce that on June 26, 2024, at the age of 79, Edward Hackford Ide Jr. of Hartly, Delaware passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward H. Ide, and Anna Ide, Sr. (Maiden); his former wife Regina M. Ide (Hoffman); and his cousin William Weiss. He is survived by: his children, Ed Ide III (Cheryl) of Smyrna, Steve Ide (Shelly) of Smyrna and Debbie Ide of Smyrna; his grandchildren, Lauren (Dean), Ashley (Zack), Jordan (Charles), Alyssa (Matt) and EJ; his cousin Alexandra Weiss; his sister Annie Carr; and his wife Gina.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dad's memory to Townsend Church, 4519 DuPont Parkway, Townsend, DE 19734, to help support the Upward Sports Program, an outreach program which utilizes sports to support our youth and bring them closer to following God.
