He is survived by: his children, Phyllis Meyer of Smyrna and James Ray of Hartly; and his grandchildren, Matthew Dawson of Hagerstown, MD, Lee Ray, Jr. of Ladson, SC, Michelle Jiorle of Dover and Amy Lee of Cheswold. He is also survived by spouses; 10 great grandchildren.
