She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Lane and Cora Edith Wilhelm Lane; her husband Marvin E. Fortney; her stepfather Mark Manlove Cole; her brother-in-law Larry Lockner; her sons-in-law, Joseph R. Adams and Lloyd Sonny Stackhouse; her grandsons, Michael Ray Slaughter and Joseph Rusty Adams; her siblings, Charles Mark Cole, Manuel Lane, Jr., Walter Augustus Lane and Lydia L. Lockner; and her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Marie Cole, Virginia May Lane, Doris Lane and Maryetta Guessford Lane.
She is survived by: her half-brother Nate Cole (Geraldine) of Ridgely, Maryland.; and her children, Raymond L. Fortney, Dover, Katherine Stackhouse of Hartly, Marvin E. Fortney, Jr. (Sumako) of Hartly, Anna Naomi Spinka of Georgetown and Henry D. Fortney (Jennifer) of Hartly. She is also survived by Ten Grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
