He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Garlic and Hattie Garlic (Arrington); his uncle Bob Arrington; and his sister Donna Hudgins. He is survived by: his close friend Heather Eisenbrey; his wife Virginia "Ginny" Garlic; his daughter Nancy Neese; his son-in-law Chip Neese; his grandsons, Chip Allen and Ethan; his aunt Arretta Wiley; his siblings, Carl Garlic (Barbara), Billy Garlic, Hilda "Hop Toad" Slaughter (Herb) of Roscoe, Mazie Barbosa and Clifford Garlic; and also, Gilbert McClements and Lizzie Morris. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Hartly Volunteer Fire Company.
