He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Pete" Sr. Shaw and Bernice Shaw; and his wife Magaret "Megan" Shaw. He is survived by: his children, Cornelius "Kit" A. Tilghman, III (Jane) and Mary-Lou Tilghman (Dietmar); his grandchildren, Tyler, Ginny, Margo, Carlie and Fiona Tilghman; and his sister Joan Shaw Wilhelm. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
