He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Franklin Mitchell and Mary Elisabeth Eastham; and his wife Georgetta. He is survived by: his daughter Barbara J. Green of Milford; his niece Katherine Bowling of Rockville; and his nephew Michael Mitchell of Potomac, Maryland..
