He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Kates and Linwood Kates of Harrington; and his sister Faye Moore. He is survived by: his sisters, Linda Barlow (Herbie), Connie Thompson (Ed) and Ruth Peterman (Gary); his nephews, Steve Gray, Tim Gray, David Moore, Kyle Peterman and Jason Moore; and his niece Melissa Moore. He is also survived by 2 great nephews and 5 great nieces.
