She was predeceased by: her parents, John Carpenter and Blanche Carpenter-Mitchell; her husband Raymond W. "Brownie" Brown; her daughter Debra Raye Brown; her granddaughter Annie Elisabeth Brown; and her siblings, Bobby, Harry, Jack Carpenter, Jane Melvin, Pauline Pepper and Donia Dodd.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen G. Brown (Bobbie), Aubrey T Brown (Gail) and Tracy Reed (Greg). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
