He was predeceased by: his father Fred Gustafson,; his grandson Brett Gustafson; his parents-in-law, Robert T. and Elizabeth Collins; his siblings, Fred Gustafson, Jr., Robert Gustafson, Nathalie Tatman and Jeannette Welch; and his brothers-in-law, Robert L. Collins and Frank Collins.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma "Sugar Pie" Gustafson; his son Steve Gustafson (Tina); his grandchildren, Christy Brown (Ben), Samantha Gustafson Sharp (Wesley), Chayton Miller and Kyle Boyce; his sister Faith Short; his siblings-in-law, Kenneth "Snookie" Collins (Delores), George Collins (Brenda), Richard "Dickie" Collins (Ellen), Bruce Collins (Barbara), Dorothy Collins and Linda Collins Maxwell; and his great grandchildren, Ty Gustafson, Luke Gustafson, Bailee Brown, Bryce Brown, Charlie Sharp, Carolyn Sharp, Hannah Boyce and Jonah Boyce. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
