He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Lander and Anna Lander; and his sisters, Rita Lloyd, Audrey Fontello and Mary Lou Arrington.

He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Lander; his sons, Fred S. Lander, Billy Wayne Lander (Bertha) and Otho "Dicky" Lander, Jr. (Diane); his granddaughter Jennifer Davis (Kyle); his great grandchild Cole; and his sisters, Carole Anne Lander and Jean Brown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
