He is survived by: his parents, Mary Kozminski and Thomas Hewitt; his children, Brianna Hewitt and Michael Hewitt, Jr.; and his siblings, Daniel Hewitt (Tammy), T. J. Hewitt (Alisha), Dwight Hewitt (Clara) and Haley Hewitt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
