It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael E. Moffett Jr. (Harrington, Delaware), who passed away on June 8, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Eddie and Michael Moffett Sr. Eddie; his son John Wayne Moffett; his grandchildren, Jesse Moffett, Tara Moffett and John Edward Rust; and his brothers, William Moffett, Walter Moffett and Robert Moffett.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Moffett; his children, Brenda Moffett-Porter, Michael E. Moffett, III, David Moffett, Pamela Smith (Phil North) and Stacey Sowers (Ron); his grandchildren, Nathan D. Rust, Eric Rust, Bryan Allaband, Lacey Moffett, David Moffett Jr., Sean Moffett, Shane Moffett and Wade Moffett; his brother Harold Moffett; and his friend Rich Ashley (Eddie). He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
