She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Lloyd and Melissa Pearl Taylor; her former husband Eddie Lee Pennington; her daughter Anna Tharp; her brother George (Georgia Lou Taylor); and her grandchildren, Michaella Ann Burns and Jameson Rocklyn Pennington.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Lee Jackson; her children, Phillip W. (Shirley Pennington, Sr.), Deanna R. Bulson, Lori L. (Chris Tharp), Minnie L. (Christopher Smith) and Joshua D. Pennington (Jimmy Poole); her sisters, Patty White of Tennessee, Margaret Tritle (Douglas) of Oklahoma and Barbara Walls of Delaware; and her brother-in-law Herb Pennington of Newark. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private for family only due to Covid restrictions.
