Maria M. Evans Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maria M. Evans (Harrington, Delaware), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 10, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Consuelo Maria Perez and Agustin Garcia; and her siblings, Angel Garcia, Ricardo Vincent Garcia, Arturo Garcia and Nereida Bernuth.
She is survived by: her husband Larry G. Evans; her children, Nancy McRobie (Michael), John A. Diaz (Karen), Stephen Diaz, Juan Diaz and J. Brian Diaz (Cindy); her stepchildren, Kenny L. Evans (Denise), Lorri E. Hardeman (Joe) and Christine Oglesby (Ronnie); her daughters-in-law, Lori Maloof and Holly Diaz; and her grandchildren, Gina (Anthony), Daniel, Joshua (Kate), Jessica (Paul), Amanda (Daniel), Christopher (Kelsey), Kayla (Kevin), Ryan (Jane), Trisha, Rebecca (Zachary), Emmit, Justin (Jennifer), Juliana (Trent), Kurt, Elisha, Kimberly, Ronnie, Leslie, Joey, Jeremy, Jordan and Brenden. She is also survived by 32 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other family and close friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Melvin Funeral Home (15522 S Dupont Hwy, Harrington, DE 19952). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
