He was predeceased by: his parents, Tilghman Charles Outten and Mary Delema Paskey Outten of Greenwood; his son Robin L. Outten; and his brother Walter D. Outten. He is survived by: his wife Alice Kathryn Outten (Kay); his children, Renee Outten Newnom (Rick) and Reig L. Outten (Elizabeth); his daughter-in-law Sherry Outten; his granddaughters, Kristin Cherry (Bau), Kara Outten and Rachel Outten; his great grandchildren, Liam and Olivia Cherry; his sister Karen Spence (Frank); and his aunt Ruth Paskey Prettyman.
