He was predeceased by: his son Neil Nowottnick; and his siblings, James Nowottnick, Robert Nowottnick and Sarah Jane Ashley. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Nowottnick; his children, John Nowottnick Jr. (Valerie), William Nowottnick (Wanda) and Christina Guzman; and his daughter-in-law Minia Nowottnick-Lynch. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
