She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sheffer and Kathleen Sheffer; and her husband Russell Joseph Knaub. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Potter (Richard), Russell John Knaub (Kim) and Sueann Herkel (John); her grandchildren, Brandie Johnson (Justin), Bryan Towers (Taryn), Jennifer Pearce (Chris), Russell G. Knaub (Brittany) and Jessica Shellan (Eric); her great grandchildren, Jessica, Emma, Little Russell, Lincoln, Annabel, Madison and Sydney; her sister Janet Forry; and her niece Carol Roth.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to St. Stephens Episcopal Church, 190 Raughley Hill Road, Harrington, DE 19952.
