He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Cagle and Betty Cagle; and his son Michael "Jim" Parsons Sr.. He is survived by: his wife V. "Ginny" Cagle; his son Christopher Parsons (Christina); his siblings, Randy E. Cagle (Kathy), Donald "Donny" H. Cagle (Sheila), Judy "Tony" Gaudino, Barbara Bunting and Gay Davis; his grandchildren, Ashley Rennaker (Ryan), Michael "Jimmy" Parsons Jr., Rachel Parsons and Ben Parsons; and his great grandchildren, Bernadette, Amelia and Payton.
He enjoyed playing volleyball for Easter Seals, riding his bike for the MS Foundation charity, playing softball and even coaching girl's softball.
