In the vast expanse of eternity, Francis shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Francis farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Rust and Barbara Rust Brumbley; and his siblings, Chris Rust and Darlene Bradley. He is survived by: his children, Travis Rust and Jennifer Rust; his siblings, Larry Rust and Shelly Rust; and his close friend Shirley Andrews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Melvin Funeral Home (15522 S Dupont Hwy, Harrington, DE 19952). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home (15522 S Dupont Hwy, Harrington, DE 19952).
