He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Porter and Myrtle Porter; and his wife Joyce A. Porter. He is survived by: his sons, Darrell Porter (Cynthia) and Jeff Porter (Brenda); and his grandchildren, Jake Porter, Nicole Porter and Cole Porter.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to Delaware Hospice in Gene's honor.
