He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Carroll Welch and Mildred Welch; and his siblings, Evelyn Goodson, Lillian Sennett, Carroll Welch Jr., William Welch, Louis Welch, Paul Welch, Pauline Gartner, David Welch Sr. and Joan Viggiani.
He is survived by: his daughters, Diane Lander (Otho Jr.), Roxane Miller (Chris) and Joyce Welch (Mike Hastings); his grandchildren, Jennifer Davis (Kyle), Tabbitha Steindl (Matt) and Tanya Fried; and his great grandchildren, Cole Davis and Ainsley Steindl.
