It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane V. Mitchell of Harrington, Delaware, born in Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on June 17, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Cornelia Mitchell; and his brother Dennis Mitchell. He is survived by: his father Vernon Mitchell; his sons, Duane Jr. (Breonne) of Woodside and Shane of Harrington; his grandchildren, Tymber Mitchell and Shane Mitchell, Jr.; his stepmother Pat Mitchell of Sudlersville; his siblings, David Mitchell of Goldsboro, Brenda Gulrich (Buddy) of Marydel and Ellen Boyd (William Wyatt) of Harrington; and his nieces and nephews, Erica Walker, Mary Ellen Boyd, Trevor Mitchell of Hurlock, Clint Dager of Newark and Erin Dager. He is also survived by numerous cousins, extended family and his friends.
