He was predeceased by : his parents, Jack L. Woods and Freida Y. Woods (Oechsler); his grandparents, Walter, Mildred Woods, Amy and Gilbert Oechsler Sr.; and his aunts and uncles, Jay, Gene, Steve Woods, Wanda Hensley, Jo Jones, Maybelle Nelson, Bill, Gilbert "Jim" Oechsler Jr. and Sir Droopy D..

He is survived by : his siblings, Brenda Buchanan, Kathy Woods, Mike Connor and Jimmy Woods (Bruce); his sister-in-law Angel Woods; his nieces and nephews, David Buchanan, Evans, Mariah Evans, Seneca Kirsh and Sierra McNatt; his cousins, Ronny, Gary and Ryan Hurd; his friend Bruce; and his brother Bobby Pritchett. He is also survived by other cousins, uncles, aunts.

Visitation was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Melvin Funeral Home (15522 S Dupont Hwy, Harrington, DE 19952). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
