It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Wardrup (Harbeson, Delaware), born in Milford, Delaware, who passed away on September 27, 2018, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Oscar "Mac" McDaniel. He is survived by: his grandchild Monopoly; his wife Linda F. Wardrup (Hazzard); his children, Jennifer M. Wardrup (Julio "Alex" Flores) and Jason D. Wardrup (Jocelyn); his mother Charlotte McDaniel of Rehoboth Beach, DE.; his grandsons, Zackery Flores Reyes and Zander Flores Reyes; his siblings, Lee McDaniel of Rehoboth Beach, DE, Park McDaniel (Barbie) of Lewes, DE, Louella Dirks (Wardrup) of Rehoboth Beach, DE and Brenda Stevenson (James) of Harbeson, DE; and his pet Scout. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Doug's name to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
